1. Rental agreement

By placing an order with Rumbas Event Rentals (“Rumbas”, “we”, “us”), the renter (“you”) agrees to these terms. A signed rental agreement and deposit are required to confirm any reservation.

2. Reservations & deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the rental subtotal is required to lock in a date and inventory. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before delivery. Reservations are not guaranteed until deposit is received and the agreement is signed.

3. Cancellation policy

• 30+ days before the event: full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
• 14 – 29 days: 50% refund.
• Less than 14 days: deposit forfeited; full balance due.
• Force majeure events (hurricanes, government orders, etc.) handled case-by-case.

4. Delivery & pickup

Delivery and pickup fees are calculated based on the event location and the size of the order. Standard delivery windows are Monday – Saturday, 8 AM – 5 PM. Off-hours, Sunday, and long-distance deliveries are quoted separately. The renter is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and access at the venue.

5. Rental Maintenance Fee

All rentals include a Rental Maintenance Fee that contributes to cleaning, sanitizing, inspection, and routine upkeep of our inventory between events. The Rental Maintenance Fee is not insurance and does not cover loss, theft, abuse, or damage from misuse. The renter remains fully responsible for repair or replacement costs for items returned damaged, lost, or significantly stained beyond normal cleaning. Specific fee terms appear on the formal quote and rental agreement.

6. Liability

Rumbas is not liable for any injury, property damage, or loss arising from the use of rental equipment outside of our control. The renter assumes all responsibility for proper use, supervision, and safety during the rental period.
