Frequently asked questions

Booking & availability

How far in advance should I book?+

We recommend at least 3 – 4 weeks for weddings and 1 – 2 weeks for smaller events. For peak season (Nov – Feb), book as early as possible — popular items get reserved fast.

How do I know what's available for my date?+

Use the date picker on our home page or in the catalog header to check an availability estimate across our inventory — final confirmation comes when our team reviews your quote.

Can I make changes to my order?+

Yes — additions and adjustments can typically be made up to 72 hours before delivery, subject to availability.

Is there a minimum order?+

Delivery orders may be subject to a minimum rental subtotal that varies by zone and event type, and exceptions are reviewed by the team on a quote-by-quote basis. Will Call (pickup) orders have no minimum — you can rent any quantity.

Delivery & setup

Where do you deliver?+

We deliver across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. Long-distance and out-of-zone deliveries are quoted separately.

Do you set up and tear down?+

Basic setup and breakdown is an added service available for Tables, Chairs & Linens (Napkins not included) and is quoted separately. Complex installations like tents, lighting rigs, and dance floors include installation in the item rental price.

When do you deliver?+

Standard delivery windows are Monday – Saturday, 8 AM – 5 PM. After-hours and Sunday delivery available for an additional fee.

Payment & deposits

How does payment work?+

After you submit your quote request, our team reviews availability, location, and logistics, then sends you the final pricing — the online total is an estimate, not the final amount. Once you approve the quote, a deposit secures your booking, and the remaining balance is due no later than one week (7 days) before delivery. We accept credit card, check, wire transfer, Zelle, and ACH.

What is your cancellation policy?+

Our full cancellation policy — including refund tiers based on how far in advance you cancel — is published in our Terms & Conditions (Section 3). The specific terms for your event are confirmed in your formal quote and rental agreement. Contact us for details on a specific order.

Do you offer payment plans?+

Yes. We can arrange a payment schedule for your order as long as the full balance is paid before delivery — we cannot deliver against an unpaid balance. Contact us to set up a plan that works for your timeline.

Damages & Rental Maintenance Fee

What is the Rental Maintenance Fee (RMF)?+

All rentals include a Rental Maintenance Fee that contributes to cleaning, sanitizing, inspection, and routine upkeep of our inventory between events. The RMF is not insurance and does not transfer liability for damage. Specific terms appear on your formal quote and rental agreement.

What if something gets damaged?+

You remain responsible for repair or replacement at full cost for items returned broken, lost, or significantly stained beyond normal cleaning. Normal wear is expected and not charged. Damage terms are governed by your rental agreement.

How do I report damage?+

Notify us as soon as possible — call (305) 380-8088 or email info@rumbaseventrentals.com. Document the damage with photos if you can, and let us know what happened so we can make it right. We'd rather know upfront than discover it later.

Inventory & customization

Do you have items not listed on the site?+

Yes — our catalog is large but we also source specialty items. If you don't see what you need, ask. We have an extensive vendor network.

Can I see items in person?+

Absolutely. Book a showroom appointment at our Medley location to see linens, tableware, and tent samples up close.

Do colors match between linens and napkins?+

Yes. Our staff curates linen + napkin combinations to ensure a cohesive look. Bring inspiration to your appointment.

Will the linen and napkin colors be an exact match?+

We strive for consistent color across all our linens, but because textiles are produced in different dye lots and our items are laundered repeatedly between events, slight tone variations can occur from piece to piece — even within the same color. These minor differences are a normal part of high-use event textiles and are not considered a defect. If an exact match is critical to your design, let us know and we'll do our best to pull from the same batch.
