Linen size guide
Pick the right tablecloth size based on your table and the look you want. The “drop” is simply how far the tablecloth hangs down over the edge of your table: floor-length drops cover the legs completely, while mid-length drops sit about halfway down for a more casual feel.
Not sure of your table size? Measure across the top — diameter for round tables, length × width for rectangles — and match the first column in the charts below.
Mid drop
~12–18"
Drape reaches about halfway down the legs. Relaxed and modern, lets the table base show. Works well with farm tables and exposed wood legs.
Floor length
To the floor
Drape fully covers the legs, just kissing the floor. Most formal look — required for dinners, banquets, and weddings.
Round dining tables
Standard dining-table heights (30"). Use these for ceremony, plated dinners, and seated receptions.
